Virtual Run World is now three years old and we thank you all for your support through the years. My husband Mike and I just returned from an 18 day trip to Walt Disney World celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary where we spent many days enjoying the parks together.
While we were in Walt Disney World, we participated in the Wine and Dine Lumiere’s Challenge and Mike was able to scuba dive in Epcot’s Dive Quest.
It is with heavy hearts that we let everyone know that on Monday evening, November 14, 2016, Mike suffered a massive brain bleed which caused him to suffer a stroke. He was airlifted to Swedish Medical Center in Seattle.
On Tuesday, November 15, 2016, the top neurological surgeons in the country performed surgery to remove a blood clot. They were able to safely remove only 75% to 80% of the blood clot due to surrounding brain tissue that deals directly with speech. He has minimal movement on his right side and moderate movements on his left side. He has a slight case of pneumonia and heavily sedated. He has been having a fever off and on. Your prayers and thoughts for Mike’s recovery are greatly needed and appreciated.
As for the future of Virtual Run World, I plan to continue designing new medals and products after things get settled a bit and we see what is in store for Mike’s recovery. We currently have inventory in stock for anyone wanting to order. We would appreciate your help in spreading the word about Virtual Run World since sales help so much too!
We thank you all for your support and prayers. A Go Fund Me page has been set up to help with all Mike’s medical costs,
